We went to Max's Oyster Bar last night in West Hartford. It's a really nice place. We've been wanting to go there for some time, but it's somewhat hard to get into because of it's popularity. We'll have to go back again sometime. Maybe next time, I can get it out of my mind that I hate the notion of eating oysters. It just grosses me out, but everyone else seems to think they are to die for. I just don't get it. Me, Kent, and Brandi (a friend of ours) went to celebrate Brandi's birthday. It was a good time.

Lazy day today. I'm doing some washing and catching up on my ReplayTV shows. Kent went to the gym. I'm trying to get enthused about going again, but for some reason, I've lost my interest. I know it would be good for me to go. Maybe I can work on it some this week.

We had dinner at our house with our friends Brandi, Jeremy, and Nicholas. We had a great time. I think spending time with friends is what we enjoy most of all. Nick is getting so big now and is cute as can be. Of course, I had to take more pictures of him and more movies. It's hard not to. Every time I see him, he's grown so much.

We were invited to go to Sturbridge Village today with Brandi and Jeremy, but declined because we have work to catch up on. Now that they day is here, and it's so nice out, we are both having motivational problems. So Kent's trying to talk me into going on a picnic. I have to admit, that sounds nicer than working. We'll see how it goes.

It looks like the folks are coming back for a visit the middle of October. It will be nice to see them once again. They'll be here for Kent's birthday, so that will be nice.

There was another crime in our state involving a gay bashing. Seems like it happens a lot anymore. I'm putting the link to the story here, but don't know how long the story will be posted. I hope they find who did it. You never know what's safe anymore. I suppose it's the world we live in.
