Strangest Search Phrases for March 2005

| | Comments (11)

I was looking at my site statistics for March, 2005. In all, the site received 834514 hits for the month of March.

I always find the statistics interesting to review, especially the search phrases. These are the exact phrases people have entered into their search engine to reach our site. For any given phrase, there were undoubtedly other sites listed. For whatever reason, our site was among them. From looking at some of these phrases, you would think that I’m running a sex site here.

Have no idea Rose. Perhaps boyfriend and your brother should ask him what it means??

Speaking of Gay Handshakes, could someone tell me what it means when my best friend's boyfriend shakes MY boyfriend and my brother's hand and tickles their palms with his finger? Is that a normal male to male handshake. Please advise.

Just so everone knows "landoverbaptist.org", the website that has the gay handshake and the WWJD thong panties, is not a real orginization. It is a website that makes fun of religion. If you don't beleive me, go to that website, click the link called "Home" and on the left side of the page their is a graphic that says "Religion kills folks dead"

I've had a few problems with my neighbor as well. When his kids are playing in their yard, he always stands out front watching me them.

This weekend, I was out doing yard work. One of his boys said "hi" to me. I replied, "Hello. That's a nice scooter you have." The scooter looked brand new so I assumed he had just gotten it. He was having so much fun with it.

And then, I heard his father yell at him to come over. The boy approached his father and told him never to talk to me.

I've done my neighborly thing. I took them a bottle of wine as a welcome to our neighbor hood. I never received a thanks. That was ok. I don't give gifts to be thanked, but I honestly didn't think that giving him a bottle of wine made me a child molester.

Some people scare me.

I had something similar happen to me a few years ago. A guy I was dating struck up a conversation with a little boy in my apartment complex -- just innocent small talk. When the kid's father noticed, he came to the "rescue" and told the boy never to speak to us.

Later, I caught the boy dumping a bag of garbage at my front door. Then, someone vandalized my new pick up -- really keyed it good. Right after I got it back from the shop, it was keyed again.

The police came out several times and after a few months of this kind of thing, the family was evicted from the complex. Luckily, the management saw me as a better tenant. If they had viewed me as the problem, I'm sure I would have been the one to go.

I can't tell you how close I came to murderous rage. These parents not only teach their kids to hate us, they make them believe we are powerless and an easy target.

Fritz,

Even though it's disturbing to see the ignorance displayed in "the gay handshake", we should get used to it. The very kinds of people who put that crap out are taking over our country! They are called the Religious Right, and 90% of them would feel exactly the same way and believe that "the gay handshake" exists, and that we want to "recruit" their children.

Just like yesterday when I was out doing yard work. My neighbors kids were out playing with new scooters they got. When my neighbor saw that I was in my yard working, he got a chair and sat there watching them and keeping an eye on me. At one point, one of his small boys stopped and said to me, "Hi.". I replied, "Hi. How are you today? That's a nice scooter you have there." His dad said, "Hey, get back in the yard." The boy said, "I have to go now", and left. His dad told him never to talk to me. When his father had to finally take off for work, he told his two sons that they were done playing for the day and had to play inside for the rest of the day.

This mentality is not isolated.

That "gay handshake" is the most disturbing thing I've seen in a long time. I guess I'm not part of the "club" either.

In the late 1950s, my mom worked as a waitress in what would today be considered a gay bar. It was a regular bar that had a backroom for gay clientele. You had to know someone to get access. I don't think they had a secret handshake, but Mom said you had to drop the right name or you couldn't get in.

It is amazing that people had to live like that in our very recent history.

Bill said:

Yes, there is apparently a "gay handshake". It was (is) propaganda for the religious nuts to protect "Christians" from "predators" (that's us).

You won't believe it, but it's true. I hate to even have this site link to these ignorant "people", but you can see the gay handshake here.

Incidentally, on the same page, they advertise a "what would Jesus do" thong. Go figure. These people scare me. I wonder if they still offer up a sacrifice of some sort to God?
