That’s what a couple of the fliers said that has been littering the campus of Southern Oregon University, in Ashland, Oregon.
Kent and I have been there before. Ashland has a huge Shakespeare festival every year which is first rate. It’s sad to see this kind of stuff happening at a place that had so much going for it. (source)

I agree. Nothing, not one act, is in a vacuum. Everything is connected. First you have hate speech. Not far behind that, someone will be the victim of a hate crime. I've seen it happen time and time again.
It's one thing for groups to advocate an anti-gay stance against marriage and non-discrimination, but when they do it's the hate and violence that is encouranged that I'm afraid of. They don't see the bigger picture, and that one thing leads to another. That's how history has worked, and that's how the future will unfold.
