We spent a day at Tivoli Gardens and had a great time. We didn’t take in any rides (not really our thing), but we did enjoy the gardens a great deal. Here are just a few...
This is actually a slide that the kids are sliding down inside

A typical alley filled with restaurants, on our way back to our hotel.

I looked through the whole set of pictures, (which are fantastic by the way,) and I can see Walt's inspiration in many of them. Not so much in the attractions, but in the use of water, plants, and walkways. Plenty of shade and water to keep visitors cool, lots of room to get around, and I am sure if I could see the place first hand I would find more similarities.
Thanks for the pictures, Bill. It made my day!
Walt Disney visited Tivoli Gardens around the time he was planning/building Disneyland. Word has it he was heavily influenced by the park.
Felling how I do about Walt DIsney and Disneyland. Tivoli Gardens would definitely be high on my list of places to visit should I ever find myself near Copenhagen. Until then, I will just have to settle for your pictures. Lucky for me you are such a great photographer. :)
