Close Up and Personal

All of these are macro shots taken right outside the cabin we were staying in at Kalaloch Lodge, on the coast in Olympic National Park.

From our cabin, we had a wonderful view of the beach and the ocean.

Our Stay at Kalaloch Lodge

These photos are all taken just outside our cabin door, just next to the cliff. The rope photos are marking the cliff area. The plants are near by.

Jeff... oh heavens yes! I take a LOT of bad photos. Some of them are permanently deleted for one reason or another. It's just that, I take LOTS of photos... around 2500 on this trip alone. I sort through them all, and the best are left around. A select few make it here, and on Flickr.

You should see my house. The walls are a collage of our memories in photos.

And Will.... where is Fritz these days? He used to post here quite often?? Just hope he's ok.

Do you ever take a bad picture?

Just askin'.

Fritz and I spent a week on the Olympic three or four years ago and loved it. On the coast we stayed in a Lodge at La Push right on the beach. It was one of the best trips for nature and exploration we ever took.
